Locate the identity through the process
Map where an identifier is assigned, observed and retired. Define how splits, merges or replacement labels affect the production record, particularly when one bundle becomes several units.
Match tags to handling conditions
Review attachment, folding, stacking and the actual environmental stages the tag will encounter. Request construction and durability information for the quoted tag and test it with representative material.
Agree the station response
Record the expected event, available observation time and controller acknowledgment. Specify the exception when an identity cannot be resolved so the production sequence remains traceable.
Turn the application into a project brief.
Start with the exact item or vehicle you need to identify, its movement and the surrounding materials. Define what a valid observation means to your application, then evaluate the hardware and software together.
- Carrier, bundle and item identity rules
- Attachment and material samples
- Split, merge and replacement records
- Station timing and exception action
Use the deployment checklist to organize your pilot.
