Define the transfer
Specify the event that confirms a tool leaves or returns to storage. Keep the observation point and the operator action aligned so a nearby tag does not create an unintended loan record.
Validate metal and mounting conditions
Use representative tools and attachment locations. Test the intended reader and tag together inside the cabinet or transfer area, including dense storage and access by the operator.
Document damaged and missing identities
Define a rescan and manual review before calling an item missing. Assign approval for replacement tags, record corrections and unresolved returns so inventory changes remain accountable.
Turn the application into a project brief.
Start with the exact item or vehicle you need to identify, its movement and the surrounding materials. Define what a valid observation means to your application, then evaluate the hardware and software together.
- Issue and return event boundaries
- Tool material and mounting samples
- Dense storage and transfer trials
- Rescan, replacement and correction process
Use the deployment checklist to organize your pilot.
