Limit the reading task to items presented close to a defined surface. This near-field panel serves equipment or workstation layouts where the project should identify a presented tag without assuming general area coverage. Evaluate actual item materials, attachment positions and neighboring tags, then select the panel dimensions and connection that suit the complete reader installation. The reference table lists Near-field Gain as “-10dBi”. Test the complete reader, cable, tag and mounting arrangement against defined acceptance criteria for both intended identifications and unwanted reads near the coverage boundary.
Use this catalog code in your inquiry. Include the installation country, required interfaces and quantity.
An RFID antenna helps define where a reader can communicate with tags. Polarization, gain, beam pattern, cabling and installation geometry all influence the read zone.
